Spoken Prayer // Rise My Mind to Your Peace
A place between frustration, and unfulfilled confidence, where by you are trying to build some confidence in faith, to see it through to finish the race, and wait on God to work, and in this to be unfailing, but doubt has been creeping in, and you need that confidence to trust in the Lord a bit longer, to hold out for the better outcome, and yes, I have been there too. What I am asking here, is for God to rise me above, over, what I can see. When you have clarity and peace, you can act better, and make better decisions. Sometimes just removing yourself from a situation for a short time, can be all that is needed to have a fresh look, and move forward. Taking time to refresh is not escape, or to abandon the situation, it is to rise in your mind to a place of quiet, stillness, where you have the clarity to receive instruction, and then act on that direction. This is not taking anything, it is a discipline of the self, and the mind, to be able to find stillness in the moment. It is something that you practice, so that you can do it under pressure, or on demand. It is not a drink, or drug, it is purely self-discipline.
